Blakliden-Fäbodberget – A Part of Sweden’s Green Energy Transition

Blakliden is part of Blakliden-Fäbodberget, one of Sweden's largest onshore wind farms, located in the inland region of Västerbotten. Together with the 84 turbines at Fäbodberget-Blakliden contributes to a significant expansion of Sweden’s renewable energy production. The facility has a total capacity of approximately 353 MW and supplies fossil-free electricity to more than 220,000 households per year.

To ensure stability and sustainability in the hilly and diverse terrain, Peikko has provided foundation solutions for several of the wind turbines. For the total 84 foundations, Peikko has delivered components different foundation types: gravity foundations, cage rock-adapter foundations (without anchor cage), and one cage rock foundation (with an anchor cage). These solutions have been optimized to ensure long-term durability and minimize environmental impact throughout the facility’s lifespan.
