Sweden's largest high school contains Peikko's frame solution

A new high school, Hedda Andersson is being built in central Lund. This school will have room for 2,000 students, which making it to one of the largest high schools in Sweden.

The school has been designed by Wingårdhs Arkitekter, in collaboration with AART Architects.

Skanska is the construction company for this project. and strong concrete elements AB is the prefab supplier.

Peikko and Starka Betongelement AB have established a strong and productive partnership. Our collaboration allows us to effectively combine our expertise and resources to achieve mutually beneficial results. Peikko have delivered a complete solution with DELTABEAM® Frame, and Starka has designed and assembled the frame.

For Peikko, this is a large project that contains more than 200 DELTABEAM® and over 100 Composite columns. In addition to that, we have also supplied a significant amount of other steel beams and columns of, for example, IPE, UPE, CFCHS.
